Recent studies by scientists from the University of Texas have shown that a substance called titanium dioxide (E171) increases the risk of diabetes. Scientists came to this conclusion after the experiment they posed. They selected 11 volunteers for research who took samples of pancreatic tissue. As a result, 8 of them had a high content of this substance and they all suffered from type 2 diabetes. In the future, it is planned to conduct research among more people to identify a more accurate result.
